who want easy access to a nearby town and a good sandy beach, with a regular bus service to the city of Chania from the nearby road. All 14 apartments have a sea view balcony and air conditioning. Seven of the apartments on the first floor also have a second balcony at the rear. Guests can connect to the Internet through a Wi-Fi connection and there is a kitchenette with cooking rings, fridge, toaster, kettle and coffee maker in the living area. Double or twin beds are available (please specify) The apartments are cleaned every day (except Sundays and holidays). Towels are changed every 3 nights, and the sheets every 4 nights. The apartments are a short stroll to the beach and have excellent sea views. |

Kalives ( Kalyves) Area Information
Kalyves is a small coastal town with a good variety of shops and tavernas, it even has a cooper
making traditional wine barrels. It is very much a local community and operates throughout the year,
not just in the summer season. With two good sandy beaches at either end of the town, it is ideal for
relaxing, swimming and sunbathing. There are plenty of restaurants, cafe bars and coffee shops to
visit in the evening and a short bus journey (about 30 minutes) takes you into Chania if you want to
explore the old town and see the Venetian harbour. You will, however, need a taxi home if you intend
to stay late.
Kalyves is an ideal starting point for exploring other coastal resorts (e.g Almyrida) or the traditional
villages of Apokoronas (Stylos, Gavalohori, Vamos)
