The ground floor consists of a dining room with a fully equipped kitchen and a full compliment of plates, cutlery and necessary cooking utensils , a romantic stone fireplace, timbered ceiling, a WC & shower and a storage room. A winding wooden staircase leads to a single bedroom and a spacious double-bedded room with A/C, wooden floors and beamed ceiling and the luxurious bathroom, with bathtub and twin washbasins and WC, is just one step away from both bedrooms. A further flight of wooden stairs to a traditional open gallery containing two generously sized beds. Your personal terrace affords you an unforgettable view of the White Mountains. Natalia's houses are perfect for visitors who want to relax in beautiful tranquil surroundings and enjoy the slow pace of village life, but also for those who enjoy walking, flowers, and nature. The area is particularly beautiful during the moths of early spring and Easter, when the wild flowers are in full bloom. A traditional mini-market and a coffee shop along with an outside kitchen with traditional oven is also available for the use of guests. The owner, Vasso, also invites guests to join her for traditional meals at the adjoined kantina, and is always pleased to give a cooking lesson, whilst she prepares the organic home cooked meals. |

Douliana is 25km from Chania, 2km from the beach of Kera and Almirida. It is up in the hills
surrounded by the green of olive trees, vineyards, carobs, herbs and wild flowers. It is well hidden
from mainstream tourism and it does not offer only sun, sand and sea.
Douliana, is the ideal traditional village for people who want to escape in order to relax and have
quality breaks. Walking in the narrow streets, enjoying the old stone-built houses, drinking
“tsikoudia” or local wine at the village taverna after swimming at Almyrida beach and in the evening,
staring at the stars.
