.

This small traditional village house dating from 1800  is located in the village of Tzitzifes,in the Apokoronas region of Chania, with access to roads to the
north and the south of Crete. The village has a kafeneion and there are two traditional Cretan restaurants about 700 meters from the house.

Stone Cottage has been divided into two seperate and private accommodation areas, both with double beds, making it ideal for two sets of friends or families
with older children. The use of natural materials such as wood and stone takes you back to other more simple and romantic times, allowing you to escape
from your daily routine. The private courtyard offers a delightful place for relaxing, or al fresco dining, under the shade of the vines.

Both parts of the cottage have kitchen, air-conditioning (payable locally), bathroom and wood-burning stoves for winter. One of them has a traditional oven
and wine press. Outside there is a large vine-covered courtyard and swimming pool.

The village is located 28 km from Chania, and 32 km from Rethymnon, in an area of outstanding natural beauty which is perfect for walkers and wild flower
enthusiasts. Sandy beaches are at about 12 kms to the north or east at Kalyves and Georgioupolis.
