This charming two/three bedroom villa, is situated alone in a quiet position , surrounded by Cypress and olive trees, offering tranquility and

traditional unspoilt village of Maza, is a ten minute stroll away, and the long sandy beaches at Georgioupolis, a 15 mins drive. The larger town of Vrisses is a 5

minute drive away, and offers a good choice of mini markets, local shops and tavernas.

The villa has been lovingly built in the traditional Cretan style, using local stone and materials, allowing it to blend into the unspoilt natural

environment

The large garden is beautifully tended, bursting with colorful flowers and fragrant herbs, and is a perfect spot for relaxing by the swimming pool, or al fresco

dining on the shaded porch. There is a BBQ area and a childrens play area.

The living area of the villa has been comfortably and tastefully furnished in a traditional antique style, with wooden beamed ceilings, a stone fire place and tiled

floors. There is a T.V and a Hi Fi music system. The villa has both

two twin beds. The main bathroom has a whirlpool bath.

There is a smaller third bedroom, with one single bed which can be used for an extra guest.

The nearest village ( 10 mins walk), has a kafeneion ( traditional coffee shop) , serving drinks and some small meals and snacks. The village also is home to a

Byzantine chapel, with

frescos

dating back to 1326, The larger town of Vrisses ( 10 mins by car ) is famous for their yoghurt making, and has several tavernas

and coffee shops where one can sample the local honey served with yoghurt. Vrisses has a baker, mini markets and other local shops, and it is always a

pleasant place to enjoy a coffee under the shade of the large plane trees by the river. The resort of Georgioupolis ( 15 mins by car) has a large selection of

more tourist type eateries and a long sandy beach.
