Two charming villa style apartments situated in the picturesque village of Megala Chorafia with stunning views over the Bay of Souda. There are two
spacious one bedroom apartments, each with a private terrace, and each villa is fully equipped for a comfortable self catering holiday. The villas are built in
the traditional style using local stone and wood, and both villas enjoy a stone fire place, central heating and air conditioning throughout. The two traditional
sofa beds may be used as additional full size single beds, and the area can be made into a separate room by drawing the curtains.

They are ideal for two families wishing to have a private pool but whilst enjoying separate accommodations and provide a good alternative to sharing one
villa and you are guaranteed a warm welcome from Takis and Katerina (who makes the best biscuits in Crete).

The colourful gardens burst with colour and this area is a great venue for enjoying the spring flowers and the olive and citrus groves. The surrounding area
is perfect for walking, and the villas are only a short stroll to the village shop, tavernas and traditional Kafeneon.

This charming traditional village is set at the foothills of the dramatic White Mountains, overlooking the Bay of
Souda and 10km East of Chania. The neighbouring village of Aptera has three tavernas and a kafeneion (1912!)
and, by taking the back roads, you can easily reach the surrounding villages of Stilos, Provarma, Neo Horio
and Armeni by car.

Peaceful and quiet, with the exception of local weddings, baptisms and name day celebrations, the village
provides easy access (2km) to the National Highway and is a perfect base for exploring the area of
Apokoronas and the wider area of western Crete.

A stunning area of natural beauty. The ancient Greco-Roman city of Aptera is nearby, along with a fabulous
Venetian castle. The area is ideal for walking, cycling and particularly suitable for those with an interest in the
spring and autumn flowers.

The nearest beach is approximately 4 km, at Kalami.
