Banks and all that
Yesterday I went to my nearest branch, 28 km from our house. I was in a queue behind 32 other people and it took an age to get served. By the time I actually got hold of some cash, it was too late to go to the other bank so today I have to go into Souda to pay the last of the bills for season 2009. Still no sign of my internet banking stuff.
Viki is very excited because the first snows have fallen on the mountains.
We did have a walk around Chania with my mom and Viki found a lovely coat for 300 euros (no, she didn't buy it). Found a great furniture warehouse where mom bought two pool chairs for half the price they were anywhere else. We didn't get back until after dark
