    reserved via a reputable ATOL or ABTA approved agent. We also strongly recommend that you take out
    holiday insurance cover and ensure that you carry a European Health Insurance Card in case of
    emergency.

    Flight searches to both Heraklion (HER) and Chania (CHQ) from U.K airports can be found below, but if you
    need any assistance in finding flights, please let us know which airport you would prefer to fly from and we
    will be pleased to investigate available flights for you and send you details. We are aware that for many
    people this may be the first time you have reserved a non-package holiday and will be happy to advise on
    the best options.

    Many of our guests also come from other parts of the world and other European countries. Again, we will
    be pleased to assist in finding suitable flights if you need assistance.

    EasyJet fly direct out of Bristol, Manchester and Gatwick to Heraklion and from Gatwick to Chania.

Scheduled and Winter Flights

Although not so common for visitors from the U.K, many of our guests from other countries around the world choose to fly with
scheduled airlines, particularly during the winter months. Short flights from regional airports to Heathrow or hops to Crete from Athens
can be co-ordinated using online booking systems to minimise changeover times. If using the same operator throughout, your luggage
will be transferred for you and you simply need to walk to the gate to board the next plane.  
Olympic Air is the newly privatised (01/10/09) version of the old Olympic Airways. They offer services to both
Chania and Heraklion, changing at Athens. They fly only from Gatwick and Heathrow.

Aegean now code share with BMI, which means that you can arrange flights to Crete, usually changing at Athens
and London Heathrow, from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin and Manchester.
