British Airways operate direct flights to Athens in the winter. In the winter you can also try Olympic, who will transfer your luggage directly onto the Heraklion plane if you book both legs with them. Easy Jet also flies to Athens all year round and the Athens - Herakleion leg is serviced by both Olympic and Aegean Air. The Athens - Heraklion shuttle flight is around 40 minutes. Domestic flights from Athens are also available to Siteia and Xania airports. |
