to three people all the year round. It was once a taverna and is on the ground floor of a 1970's building that was extensively renovated and converted to an apartment in 2002. Being entirely on the ground floor makes it very convenient for anyone who prefers not to use stairs. At night the settee in the living room can be converted into a bed suitable for a third adult or an older child. A cot is also available on request. This apartment may also be booked in conjunction with the Balconia Apartment for larger groups and families. In common with all of our properties you will find that this apartment skilfully combines a traditional Greek ambience with all the modern luxuries needed for a superb and memorable holiday. The cottage retains many of its original features including the original restored taverna sign. Just step out of your front door and you'll be right by the side of Makrigialos's old harbour and a sandy beach perfect for bathing. Makrigialos is a traditional resort on the South coast and visitors still enjoy the famous Cretan "philoxenia" and warm hospitality |
