The property consists of 5 elevated villa style apartments,all with two bedrooms (one double bed and two single beds), a kitchen with a small cooker and a large fridge/freezer. Each villa has a sea facing balcony/terrace and the smaller apartments have terraces. In addition there are 2 ground floor apartments which are smaller but also have two bedrooms with a double and two single beds. Wireless Internet is available around the reception area (but not in the apartments themselves) and there is a large private parking area. The water in the large seawater swimming pool is replaced weekly and uses a minimal amount of pool chemicals. You can walk to the clear waters of the cove in a few moments to take advantage of the cool sea which is right on your doorstep. All in all, an idyllic, friendly, family operated and convenient location for couples, families or groups of friends wanting a relaxing pool and seafront location, with the option of a larger town nearby, (5km) with entertainment, great restaurants and some bars or nightlife. Please note that these apartments are not within walking distance of the beach or tavernas in Ammoudara which is approximately 1.5 km away. |

The area of Ammoudara in Agios Nikolaos
Ammoudara ( not to be confused with the industrial area of Heraklion, also
called by the same name) is a pleasant small resort, with a sandy beach, clear
waters and two beach side taverna and a small mini market. There is a bus stop,
with regular bus service to both Agios Nikolaos, which is approximately 4 km
away and Ierapetra on the south coast. The village resort of Istron is about 4 km
east and there you will find several quiet tavernas, mini markets and sandy
beaches. This is the nearest resort to Maria's Villas and is approximately 1.5kms
distant.
