    When approaching Elounda, the first major hotel that visitors see is the Porto Elounda and the verdant 9 hole golf course in the grounds.
    With 142 rooms, ranging from simple side sea view for single travellers to the exclusive 2 bedroom suite with private pool and terrace,
    the hotel features luxurious restaurants, a lobby and beach bar and a private sandy beach. Children under 10 can enjoy the "Childrens
    Ark" kids club which operates 6 days per week and creche facilities are available for infants over 6 months of age. A children's paddling
    pool is also available on the beach.

    For adults there is SCUBA, windsurfing, sailing, water skiing and the private golf course, available only to guests, which has two levels
    of difficulty, with multiple tees to enable a full 18 hole round to be played if required. A PGA golf pro runs the golf academy and there
    is also a 9 hole putting green and practice nets. The full size course at Hersonnisos can be reached by car in less than an hour. Additional
    recreational facilities include two tennis courts and a gymnasium.
            

    During the summer, Mediterranean and Cretan a la carte dining is available in the olive grove setting of the "Elies" restaurant, whilst  
    lunch is served at "Odysseus" tavern, right on the water's edge, with a selection of fresh seafood and Greek dishes. The Kirki bar, offering
    delightful views across the bay, is the perfect place for aperitifs and cocktails, accompanied by piano music in the evening, whilst the
    Beach Bar serves drinks and snacks throughout the day.


    The hotel is justifiably proud of the first Six Senses Spa (TM) in Europe, which offers a wide variety of treatments and programmes to
    refresh and re-envigorate. The spa services are available to all guests by prior arrangement and can be booked in advance along with your
    accommodation. We will be pleased to advise prices and details on request. The spa was voted "the best spa in the world" by The
